Ink Masters: Mattia Calvi 'Mambo'

Mattia Calvi, artistically known as "Mambo", invented the "Destrutturato" style. He has perfected his style in his tattoos and is recognized wordlwide for his art.

"The objective is that the juxtaposition of these two elements (wide black lines and color) can tell a complete story." Mambo says about Destrutturato. He also mentions that the inspiration from his styl came from the simplicity of the logos, as he states "transforming an image into a logo means simplifying it by keeping the basic lines but ensuring that any subject is equally understandable to everyone."

In April 2018 he opened the Mambo Tattoo Shop, in Meda, 20 km from Milan.
