Gear Review: Focusrite Scarlett Solo 3rd Gen
There is something great about writing reviews of products you actually use and enjoy. This is my case with the Focusrite Scarlett Solo 3rd gen.

I have used the Scarlett 212 before, for some home recording projects, so I knew the performance quality of Focursite. A few weeks ago I bought the Solo 3rd gen and was pleasantly surprised.

It is small, but resistant, so I can even move it around in my guitar case. It comes with one input for mic and one instrument input. In my case the 90% of the use comes from direct recording guitar and bass, so one instrument input is perfect. But when I need to do a better quality recording, I would usually use the mic with a guitar amp and the direct line at the same time.

I had no trouble installing the drivers, instructions are very clear and easy to follow.

In my opinion, this interface will give you great semi-professional recordings for a great price.
