Introducing Heedless Elegance (HU)

The hungarian band Heedless Elegance was formed in 2015 and its roots reach back to the 2000’s metalcore. The idea of the name and the whole concept of the band was born in a festival in Hungary, where they started to brainstorm about this phrase, which is the metaphrase of a hungarian expression of rakishness. They have released their first, self-published LP in 2019 with the title Wanderer, one year after their first EP called Into Nothing. Wanderer has received a lot of recognition and positive criticism in the online media. Most of the songs on the album represent internal and external journeys, whether moving from countryside to the capital and exploring the new world, or the runaway of a good friend. They have released two music videos so far: Alone and There Is No If.



The band has participated successfully in many talent shows and festivals. In 2019 they won first prize at the Él?-Zene Talent Show in Herend, Hungary. In the same year Heedless Elegance got among the 10 best productions in the Fülesbagoly Talent Show in Martonvásár, Hungary. The band has won the award of the „Best metal album of the year” in 2019 according to metal.hu. One of their biggest credits is that they are the only metal band this year who has won governmental financial support through a competition. The new line-up has many concerts in different underground clubs in Hungary and abroad, they are continuously pushing forward and organize even greater shows. Last year they took part in the Balkan Metal Meeting in Tuzla, Bosnia-Herzegovina.



Their next mini-tour abroad is taking place in Romania on 9-10-11th April with three stations: Oradea, Zalau and Cluj Napoca. This year Heedless Elegance is working hard on a new album. In spring they will launch a new single with a high-budget music video. They will return to Tuzla in April and play again in Balkan Metal Meeting. On 16 April they are opening for the french metalcore band Kadinja in Dürer Kert in the company of the hungarian modern metal titans The Tumor Called Marla.
