Short Interview with Kati Cher

Austrian rock singer Kati Cher, has constantly been in the stage, performing both national and international shows along great musicians. She has also been vocal demonstrator for the Ken Tamplin Vocal Academy since 2017.

Hello Kati, could you tell us what projects are you working on?

I've been working with Ken Tamplin since late 2017. I do vocal demonstrations on his YouTube channel for his vocal academy.

I was supposed to do an European tour as front woman with an already existing Austrian band this summer, which was supposed to get announced soon, but the tour might get postponed due to COVID-19.

My previous band was called Black Cage, we played Glam Rock and split in late 2018.

I've been working on my own music and on cover duets with international artists for my own YouTube channel.

I travel often to the states. The last time I was performing at a jam at Lucky Strike's in Hollywood alongside Glen Sobel and many other great musicians.

I'm also having a project with my good friend Bernhard Beibl (ex Tangerine Dream guitarist). We play acoustic covers and you can book us for shows.

Could you mention your favorite bands or artist?

My favorite bands are Alter Bridge, Halestorm, Tremonti, Korn, Steel Panther, Stick Figure and Stone Sour.

Lastly, what do you like the most about being an artist?

I love to perform on stage and connect with people, I also like the traveling, so I'm really missing this right now.
