Beth Mv, born in Paraguay, is the singer of the Acoustic Doom / Dark Country band Garden of Bones. We did a very special interview with her, where she told us all about her influences, projects and details from her next to release album "Dark Forest".

What are your favorite bands/artists and how did they influenced your style?
My favorite bands of all time are Southern Isolation, Dax Riggs, Myrkur, Tiamat, Windhand, Acid King, Crowbar, to name some, and several other bands that identify me a lot and play a very important role in my music project, in the genres i sing and my own style as an artist.
Some of the influences in my style of singing are Stephanie Opal Weinstein from Southern Isolation, Hope Sandoval from Mazzy Star, Amalie Bruun from Myrkur, Dorthia Cottrell from Windhand, Lori S. from Acid King and Doro Pesch.
How would you describe Garden of Bones?
Garden Of Bones ( G.O.B ) is a pile of deep and dark ideas, that tells stories in each song which any person can identify with and come to relate to their lives, special situations or feelings, taking the listener to a journey through their own inner darkness.
Our sound is Acoustic Doom / Dark Country. To give you an example, the main idea of the G.O.B project is to move the listener through our songs to another enviroment that is not the usual, so the listener can find himself/herself in nature such as if he/she were in a movie of very cold and foggie forests and darkness.
What can you tell us about your next album "DARK FOREST"?
We already released a Demo of 4 songs in 2018 which is available to listen for free at our Bandcamp (gardenofbones.bandcamp.com) and we are making the release of our first full length album of 10 songs called "Dark Forest" this year (2020).
The release date will be announced very soon through our social media. This will be a very attractive and promising album because of the uniqueness of our sound and will mark a very good start of this style/genre that does not exist yet in our country. We are from Asunción, Paraguay (South America).
