Review: Alter Bridge
So the new Alter Bridge's sixth album "Walk The Sky" is out! This new album will deliver the great rock energy that Alter Bridge masters.
You can notice Alter Bridge has evolved since their first album still mantaining their characteristic style. "Walk The Sky" has Myles Kennedy with vocals and guitar, Mark Tremonti with the guitar (and lead vocals in "Forever Falling"), Brian Marshall with the bass guitar, and Scott Phillips in the drums and keyboard.

Interesting fact is that Daniel Tremonti, Mark's brother, did the cover artwork for the album.

This album is easy to listen, it is made up by 14 tracks (one is an intro) of about 4 minutes each. It is very well balanced and some tracks will include slower tempo passages that are perfect to make Myles' voice reach its peak. For example "Walking on The Sky" is an example of this balance, when it has verses with a calm feel but the chorus is heavier. It builts up and it get to a energy blast at the end with a great guitar solo.

My Favorite Track
I would recommend you to listen to "Godspeed". That song was made to be played live, in a huge arena. It has a great energy, a catchy chorus melody, a guitar solo and it has a break that leads right into the final chorus.

This track may not be exactly a representation of Alter Bridge's style, at least what we are used of listening from them, but it is for sure to be enjoyed by fans and new listeners.
